Amanda has been caring for dogs for most of her life. She grew up around large and small dogs as a child and started handling show dogs in the conformation ring in 1994. She started competing with her own dogs in USDAA and NADAC agility trials in 1999. At that time she also rescued and rehomed dogs from the local pounds. She gained experience in behavior modification with small breed dogs who had become aggressive towards people. She still provides this service on occasion but her main focus is pet sitting and dog walking. She loves cats too and has owned several over the years.


The walk: Dogs are walked either alone or with several friends. Four dogs is the maximum number that we walk at one time per walker. Most dogs are walked personally by Amanda. Occasionally other family members will help under her direct supervision. This ensures that only  experienced dog owners will be caring for your pet.

Safety: Collars are tightened so that they will not slip off of your dog's neck and leashes are fastened to the walker to ensure that the walker and dog never get separated.

Weather: Dogs are walked rain or shine. Please provide a water-resistant coat  and a towel for your dog during bad weather.

Pet sitting: Whether in your home or
ours, your pet will be loved and well cared for by Amanda personally.
